Meet Our Newest Team Members

  Posted: Jan 06, 2020

As we transition into the new year, we’re thrilled to share some changes happening at Liberty Rehabilitation Specialists. We’ve added five bright new faces to our team, who are already well underway in their roles and treating our wonderful patients every day. We couldn’t be more grateful for the experience and passion they bring to our team.

Angela Martin, DPT, is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and graduate of Incarnate Word University, working primarily in our Northeast location. She possesses a unique passion for working with amputees, which arose from several inspiring experiences with special needs athletes during her time receiving her degrees. Angela knew they were a special subset she was eager to continue assisting, and we couldn’t be more excited to share in the enthusiasm she has for opening new doors for our patients.

Rachel Richardson, OT CHT, is an Occupational Therapist as well as a Certified Hand Therapist. She comes to us with many years of experience, and we’re thrilled to have her valuable knowledge supporting our practice. She gives us the capability to offer occupational therapy at our North Central office, which is something we’ve been striving to provide our patients for many years. With an emphasis on patient education in an effort to reduce their fear of their situation, she brings knowledgeable compassion to her role that patients love.

Brian Christman, COTA, is a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant with 20 years of service in the U.S. Army under his belt, 13 of which in occupational therapy positions. Brian brings a unique and inspiring work ethic to our North Central location. His years of experience in a leadership role with the Army, as well as the quality of training and education he received during his time there, makes him a knowledgeable and trustworthy therapist that we know we can turn to for just about anything.

Amanda Muñoz, OT, is an Occupational Therapist currently completing her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy. She’s been providing outstanding contract work for us, and we can’t wait to have her on board full time. When we had an unpredicted burst of patients several months ago at our Northeast location, Amanda stepped up to the plate and faced our heightened workload like the true professional she is. She’ll soon be pursuing her Hand Therapy Certification as well, and we know she’ll have valuable innovation to bring to our practice.

Lauren Saucedo, COTA, is also a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant and a recent graduate who completed a clinical rotation with us here at Liberty Rehabilitation Specialists. We couldn’t wait to bring her on board permanently at our Northeast location after seeing how enthusiastically she worked with every single one of our patients. Her youthful vibrancy brings a refreshing take to our field of therapy, and we’re excited to see what she achieves.

The response from patients who have had the opportunity to work with these five talented individuals has been overwhelmingly positive. Their new insights, coupled with the experience that many of us have shared together over the years, allows us to continue providing the very best service to our patients. Our motto is “We treat patients like family,” and when you’ve got a stellar team that already feels like family, that mindset translates to our patients all on its own.

2020 is already shaping up to be an exciting year of growth for us, and we can’t wait to use that growth to help our patients manage their pain.
