Liberty Rehabilitation Specialists Testimonials

Have had middle back pain spasm that eventually went into my neck and Right arm. My doctor recommended PT and sent me to Liberty. Angela knew what she was doing an how to get me to cooperate with treatment. Before I was unable to do “normal” housework or recreational without pain.. It has been a great experience and helped me improve.

“I have long history of right knee problems. I asked my PCP for rehab to alleviate pain in knee and shoulder and protect my mobility. Sent me to Liberty for treatment and I have been very satisfied with them. They have been responsive to my pain level and successful in extending my range of motion in both knees and shoulders. I recommend them to friends. Reuben was friendly and tactful getting me to extend my pain limits. Office staff was friendly and helpful!”

“From day one the exercises were explained in a clear manner. The trainers, especially Reuben explained each exercise in relation to my discomfort at the time. The take home instructions are very simple to follow. Reuben was very caring about my comfort in performing the various movements. My experience using this facility was informative and constructive. The time spent here was worth the experience and memorable”

I have received Physical Therapy at Liberty for a Knee replacement and for Lymphedema Right Leg. The Therapists Cheryl and Lydia conducted the Lymphatic therapy. They both were extremely encouraging and professional. Tyler has been doing my knee therapy twice a week. Tyler is thorough, professional and very good. I highly recommend Liberty and especially the mentioned therapists.

I have just started my sessions here, and so far I am truly enjoying them. Everyone is very courteous, professional and friendly. Leah, Amber and I think Kaylie are all very easy to work with. They are extremely helpful and they know how to bring comfort to an uncomfortable experience. I feel certain they will be instrumental in getting my arm back to normal. Highly recommend! UPDATE Was referred back after my surgery. I worked with Tyler and he was excellent as well. Very thorough and helpful. I highly recommend Liberty and their entire staff. They are simply the best!

Tl;dr, 5/5 stars for Northeast Liberty and Tyler is an amazing. He has his doctorate in Physical Therapy. Super nice and at NE Liberty you are seen 1 on 1, for 40 minutes. They verify insurance for you, you can call to schedule, schedule online, or book at your appointment. They also have an automatic waiting list, if you are under scheduled for that week, and your therapist has a last minute cancellation, and you can select to schedule the appointment if it works for your schedule. — The Rave — I don’t leave a lot of reviews, but after I gave an unsolicited multi-text rave about how much I love coming to NE Liberty and Tyler as a DPT, I thought it would be worth a share. I have been doing PT way too much of my life and always saw orthopedists and physical therapists who mainly treated athletes, and I was not one. What they said did not click for me and I started to dread anytime PT was recommended. Finding Liberty changed that, completely. In truth, I was looking for a place that I could tolerate and I thought might be good for my mom— Liberty seemed, just from their site, that maybe they’d be good fit as they see a lot of older adults (though not-exclusively, to my knowledge). I went in, not expecting much from the evaluation, but I think Tyler spoke with me entire 40 minutes as he did diagnostics and he wrote down everything I was saying. He stopped me to ask questions, had me take my shoes off and show him exactly where my pain is and where else it was effecting. He talked to me about PT I’d done in the past, and what stopped from going and sticking with it. Genuine questions, not probing to find answers. I left feeling heard and actually pleased about my next appointment. The NE office is small and I’ve yet to be there and see it packed, which is so nice. He didn’t hand me off to a PTA, with a list of exercises to go and a timer. He’s been 100% present for all of my visits. Has worked with me on finding exercises that work for me, exercises that address acute issues as they arise and has literally never lectured me on missing a day of doing my at-home exercises. Which in turn has made me want to do them bc there is no shaming for a day or days you’ve been unable to do them at home. I am a visual learner and once Tyler realized that in our first session, he explained in a way I understood. And continues to do so at every turn. Also, the “homework” sheets you are sent home with, usually have real pictures of real people, doing the exercise, not the same figures every other PT has been using for years that don’t explain much. He also writes notes next to the exercises to clarify. The NE office very chill, at least in the post 2 pm time period, and appointments are adjusted to how you’re doing that day, not just adding more sets to the exercises you did last visit. I’ve been raving about my PT at Liberty ,to many friends who have gotten tired of PT locally themselves. Note: I do believe Liberty is quite strict with their appointment cancellation, 24 hrs in advance or a fee is charged. I’ve never had to cancel that late, and while I don’t have that money to spare, it makes sense as you are getting a PTs or OT therapy, on your own, for 40 minutes. I have only been to the NE location, so i cannot speak to any of the other offices.

I had the pleasure of receiving occupational therapy at Liberty Rehab for my carpal tunnel syndrome, and I couldn’t be more pleased with my experience. From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel comfortable and at ease. The therapist, Leah and Morgan were incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to explain my condition and treatment options thoroughly. The treatment plan was tailored to my specific needs, and I was impressed by how personalized and effective the exercises and stretches were. The clinic had a welcoming atmosphere, and I always felt supported throughout my sessions.
