Dr. Amanda Varner

OTD OTR
Occupational Therapist
Originally from Missouri, she completed her undergraduate degree at Missouri Southern State University in Kinesiology with a minor in Psychology in 2022. She completed her Doctorate of Occupational Therapy at Baylor University in 2024.

She has experience in pediatrics, home health, acute care, and hand therapy. Hand therapy remains her passion, and she is pursuing her Hand Therapy Certification with Liberty Rehab. She is currently enrolled in a Hand Fellowship program and recently completed a Dry Needling course for the upper extremity. Her goal is to become a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT).

What do you do for the company?
OT pursuing her hand specialty certification, working with upper extremity patients and neuro.
Something patients have to deal with that you want to fix?
I want to fix regaining independence and function for everyday activities that bring them joy and contentment.
Conditions You Enjoy Treating:
Arthritis, trigger finger, CTS, fractures, and nerve compression injuries.
What do you like about working here?
I enjoy the atmosphere of the clinic and the patients that we see, as well as my colleagues, teamwork, and the morals we all uphold in our positions.
What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?
I enjoy reading books, watching my favorite shows, playing with my dogs, or spending time with my husband and friends.
