Morgan Cook
Some hands are stiff. Some are scarred. Some belong to a six year old who will not sit still for a protocol. Morgan Cook has worked with all three. She studied exercise science with a minor in psychology at Auburn University, finishing in 2019, then earned her Masters of Occupational Therapy from Alabama State University in 2021. Her experience runs across pediatrics, orthopedic hand, and burns and wounds, and she is working toward her Hand Therapy Certification. She relocated to San Antonio from Seattle, and she brings that whole range into the evaluation rather than reaching for the first plan that fits.
What guides the work.
Morgan measures the work in self-care goals, not in exercise counts. Dressing yourself. Fastening a button. Getting a scarred hand to close far enough to hold a cup again. She works alongside our certified hand therapist as she builds toward her own Hand Therapy Certification, and she says plainly that she is grateful for the chance to care for her patients and help them reach those goals.
Life beyond the treatment table.
Outside the clinic, Morgan spends her time with her family.
